This course is designed to train individuals to safely manage racking storage systems in an operation.
Aim of Programme
To provide information and tools to enable individuals to take ‘ownership’ and safely manage storage racking systems and goods stored thereon. By adopting best practice, in accordance with relevant standards and health and safety legislation, minimise the potential risk of injury to personnel, damage to goods and interruption to business. Annual racking inspections must still be carried out by an external competent person.

Methodology
The Programme of structured classroom lectures, discussion sessions and practical inspection of racking. Employing the use of slides, films, culminating in a theoretical test.
Course Duration 1 Day:
• 08:30 Trainer arrives
• 09:00 Course begins
• 10:30 Break (approximate and if suitable)
• 12:00 Lunch (approximate and if suitable)
• 12:45 Practical session begins (warehouse/storage area access required)
• 13:45 Course resumes in classroom
• 15:00 Course ends with short written assessment and feedback session.
Training Location
The course would be held at your premises for up to 6 delegates and includes both a practical and classroom aspect
Instruction & Certification
Accredited instructors delivering an externally accredited RoSPA Assured Course conduct all instruction and certification. Certificates are valid for 3 years.
